Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Expensa application operated by Connect U.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Expensa mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms, please do not download, install, or use the application.
Expensa is a personal finance and budget management tool. It is provided "as is" and "as available" for your private, personal, and non-commercial use. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and integrity of the transaction data you manually input or log into the application.
Certain features, reports, or visual customizations within Expensa may require a premium subscription or a one-time in-app purchase. All billing, subscription management, and payment processing are handled securely through the Google Play Store and are subject to their specific Billing Terms of Service. You may manage or cancel your active subscriptions at any time via your Google Play account settings.
Expensa operates offline-first, meaning your ledger is saved on your device's native filesystem. While Expensa provides options for local database backups and optional Google Drive synchronization, you are responsible for maintaining safe copies of your important data. We do not assume any liability or responsibility for data loss resulting from device hardware failure, operating system corruptions, software update anomalies, or accidental user deletions.
You agree not to use the application for any illegal, illicit, or unauthorized purpose. You must not attempt to modify, hack, decompile, reverse-engineer, translate, or extract source code from any part of the application package.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our data collection, permissions, and security parameters. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.
The application is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, bug-free, or compatible with all operating system versions.
In no event shall the developer, Piyush Shende, or Connect U be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages (including, without limitation, loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or expense inaccuracies) arising out of or in connection with your access, use, or inability to use the application.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the application after the publication of modifications indicates your acknowledgement and complete acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms and your relationship with Expensa shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
