We, Expensa, operate this mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the App. We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Services. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Permissions and Data Usage

To provide a full-featured, offline expense-tracking experience, Expensa requests the following permissions on your device:

• Camera: Used to capture images of receipts, invoices, or paper documents to attach them directly to your logged transactions.
• Microphone (Audio): Used for voice-to-text features, allowing you to add and log transactions via voice commands hands-free.
• Accounts (Get Accounts/Manage Accounts): Used solely to facilitate Cloud Sync with your own Google Drive account. We do not access, view, or modify any other accounts or personal data.
• Notifications (Post Notifications): Used to send local notifications and reminders for upcoming recurring bills, daily expense logging alerts, and budget limits.
• Storage: Used to save transaction attachment images and export/import database backups locally on your device storage.
• Biometrics/Fingerprint: Used locally on your device to unlock secure access to the app. We do not store, upload, or have access to your biometric data.

Cloud Synchronization

Expensa offers an optional Cloud Sync feature. If enabled by you, your local database is encrypted and uploaded directly to a private backup folder in your personal Google Drive account. This data is private to you and is completely inaccessible by the developer or any third party.

Premium Subscriptions

Expensa offers premium features through secure in-app purchases. Payment processing is handled securely and directly by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details, bank information, or financial transactional data.

Data Security

We do not share, lease, or sell your personal or financial information to any third party. Your financial ledger, accounts, budgets, and files are stored locally on your device and, if enabled, on your personal Google Drive account. We employ industry-standard secure cryptography to protect database storage.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is stored on your device for as long as the application is installed. You can delete all your database tables at any time by clearing the application's storage/cache in your Android system settings, or by using the 'Delete Data' option within the app interface. If you have enabled Cloud Sync, you can delete your backup directly from your Google Drive files.
